The First International Symposium of the World’s Leading Wine Creators
• For the first time, twenty of the most renowned wine critics will join today’s most influential wine creators to discuss the leading
issues of the day.
• At this unique symposium, participants will not only be able to meet the wine creators, but also have an opportunity to taste their
wines.

The management team from the wine growing and development project
La Melonera and Grupo Peñin have organised
the First International Meeting of Wine Creators.
This First Meeting of WineCreators will take place on the 18th and 19th of April in the city of Ronda, in southern Spain. It is a not-to-be-missed opportunity for wine lovers and professionals to meet this highly select group of experts.
WineCreator will be an event where wine will be treated as an artform; where the key players will explore the styles, trends and the unique nature of wine as it is being developed throughout the wine world.
The advisory committee is made up of Jancis Robinson, Honorary President of the first meeting, Michel Bettane and the Spanish journalists Víctor de la Serna and José Peñín. In addition to the committee members, Winecreator’s Panel of Experts includes: Stephen Tanzer, David Schildknecht, John Radford, Charles Metcalfe, Robert Joseph, Joel B.Payne, Bob Campbell, Michael Fridjhon, James Halliday, Peter Moser, Eleonora Scholes, Rodolfo Gerschman, Pierre Casamayor, Joshua Greene, Bernard Burtschy and Ernesto Gentili.
The selected oenologists and wine creators are Ales Kristancic, Paul Draper, Ricardo Cotarella, Álvaro Palacios, Peter Sisseck, Stephane Derenoncourt, Carlo Ferrini, Jean-Claude Berrouet, Michel Rolland, Dirk Nieeport, Denis Dubourdieu and Olivier Humbrecht.
This will be the first in a series of prestigious international events, to be held every second year in different countries around the world. In addition to the symposium there will be tasting sessions of the wines led by the wine creators themselves. Attendees or participants will come from the ranks of wine collectors, buyers, oenologists and winemakers from around the world.
WineCreator represents a new opportunity in the world of wine, as it will bring together the most influential figures of the international wine elite for the very first time.
